To spread the Vedas to the nook and corner
of India and the world at large. He insists that the Vedas do rightly belong
to the whole world and it is imperative and expedient that the sound of
the rhythmic chanting of the Vedas should be made to be heard anywhere and
every where.
-
a) To establish Schools, side by side, to
teach Sanskrit and other subjects to the Vedic students, so that, besides
learning the Vedic mantras, the students can also understand the meaning
of the mantras and have a sound basic knowledge of modern education as well.
b) To establish institues for advanced Sanskrit studies and Vedic Research.
c) To establish a Central Library containing all available literature in
Sanskrit and on Hinduism in one location to help scholars and researchers
in their pursuit. The Swamiji has travelled extensively through the length
and breadth of the country and collected so much of manuscripts and other
Vedic literature, many of them rare and not available anywhere else.
-
To codify, establish and publish under the
"SRI VIDYA" seal, standardised and authentic procedures and karmas for each
one of the various Hindu religious karmas, ceremonies and rites. This will
eliminate regional variations and individual aberrations.
-
To classify, prepare and publish booklets
of the various Vedic mantras for performing Archanas for various Gods.
-
To arrange performance of Homas and Yagnas
as per Vedic injunctions for the welfare of the Universe as a whole. His
Holiness insists, asserts and assures that proper performance of Homas periodically
will drive out all the ills of mankind and certainly bring "Lokashema" welfare
to the entire World.
-
To establish an Ayurvedic Medical Research
Institute and laboratory, specially with a view to develop specific herbal
medicines for Cancer and similar otherwise incurable diseases. Patients
are now being treated either by Poojas and Homas or Herbal medicnes or special
mantra prayagas depending on the disease, its nature, its age and its severity.
Development of specific Herbal medicines is very essential as that will
go a long way in minimising and reducing the suffering, although temporary.
His Holiness has otherwise to bear if he takes the disease on Himself. But
this is inseparably intertwined with intricate knowledge of the Vedas especially
Atharva Veda Mantra Sastra and an awarness of our centuries old traditional
inheritance of medical literature. A lot of professional craft, skill and
approach is required to achieve a breakthrough and transform the present
stalemate of a forgotten tradition into a movement which is constantly new
perennially fresh. But such a break through is ruled out unless by the Grace
of the Almighty and the Guru, the personification of the Para-Brahman. This
Grace of Sri Ambal and Guru, our Swamiji has in abundance. With this Sri
Swamiji can perceive the vast oceanic and limitless Vedic Literature and
activate new springs of endless resource to serve mankind.

To help the poor, needy the slick, the old,
the indigent and the destitue. His Holiness is a firm believer of the maxim
that 'Service to Society is Service to God'. Only a meaningful combination
of Religious Service and Social Service will ensure proper upliftments of
the general masses and bulild up a prosperous and peaceful Society. Provision
of free/cheap medical service: Mobile units to take medicare to the doorsteps
of the rural people in the interior village, constructions of Hospitals,
Schools, Marriage and Upanayanams, Monetary help to the educated, unemployed
to start their own business; opening of care centres for the old, for the
handicapped, for orphans and for destitutes. These are but a few projects
thoughts of and worked out in this regard.

To construct a temple for Goddess Lalitha
Parameswari with Anga, Upanga, Pratyanga and other Parivara deities in a
manner the like of which does not exist anywhere also: This temple will
serve- As a model for the construction of similar temples elsewhere, As
a authentic guide to Sri Vidya Upasakas As fountain-head of all prosperity
and enable all to receive the perpetual blessings of Sri Ambal. A circumambulation
of the temple is equal to one Navavarana Pooja. Towards fulfillment of these
aspirations of His Holiness, two Trusts have been constituted both dedicated
to the service of humanity.
A Charitable and Religious Trust by name 'JAGADGURU SRI SATCHITHANANDA SARASWATHI
SWAMIGAL TRUST' If, from humble beginnings, Sri Swamiji has attained such
great heights and become what He is now, His Holiness asserts that it is
entirely due to the Blessings of His Guru. Just think of the Guru, Sri Swamiji
can go on reciting poems, hymns, songs improptu and also lecture extempore
on any subject at length without any preparation whatsoever.
Likewise, unlimited is His reference to Sri Veda Vyasa, the master Sage
who codified and edited the Vedas in their present form and to 'Sri Adi
Sankara Bhagavad Pada, the renowed exponent of Advaita and the great Shanmathacharya
who taught us the quintessence of the Vedas through his famous commentaries
and innumerable Vedantic works. His Holiness repeatedly asserts that we
are deeply indebted to these two savants and any amount of efforts to show
our gratitude cannot, even to a little extent, compensate the monumental
service they have done to preserve, promote and propagate the Vedas. In
His Holiness, we have the unique synthesis of the man of action and the
man of devotion, of the mystic and the poet, of the saint and the organiser.
May the beacan light of His Holiness 'Blessings guide us on the righteous
path and lead us to safer moorings.
